History

Cubitech Ltd was founded in 2001, by Conrad Bray & Nikos Kalafatis, in Cambridge, UK. The company initially focused in the development of compression and storage algorithms that found application in digital video recorders and remote CCTV monitoring solutions.

Early in 2002 the company launched its first Digital Network Video Recorder (NVR) CubisPRO which included features like extended storage capacity, state-of-the-art remote monitoring capabilities and intuitive used interface.

Following the success of CubisPRO and using the latest developments in hardware and software, the company developed CubisLITE series to meet the need of smaller businesses. CubisLITE was designed for the user who simply wants to monitor a premises in a cost-efficient way.

More recently, the company responding to the demand of expanding the product range and to support alarm receive centres introduced Cubis CENTRAL solution.

In 2007 CubisNX was launched. Based on entirely new hardware and completely redesigned user interface the CubisNX series quickly found acceptance in the market providing features such as Pause-Live, bi-directional audio transmission, support of video transmission to mobile devices and more.

In 2008 the CubisNX family of products was widened with the arival of CubisNXR; a high performance system aimed at the professional CCTV market. With features like mimic diagrams, integration with the all-new Cubis CENTRAL, multiple triger alarm senarios CubisNXR models are built on customer feedback and the actual needs of the end-user.
