CubisPRO is the next generation digital surveillance
system that goes beyond simple recording of video footage. It combines a digital
video storage unit, multiplexer and PTZ control unit all in one, eliminating
complex installations and the need to purchase extra hardware.
Each CubisPRO
unit can manage up to 16 cameras, each of which can be controlled and configured
individually. Units can be linked to form much larger systems managed seamlessly
from a central master module. Sophisticated algorithms enable a wide range of
efficient storage solutions to suit virtually any application.
Incorporating
advanced image analysis techniques, CubisPRO intelligently analyses footage to
identify suspicious activity and can alert the system manager automatically
whenever the event occurs. Alerting your security staff to an event immediately
can cut reaction times and improve their response capability as they will be
able to see exactly what is going on and take appropriate action.

Smart Recording
CubisPRO
offers four types of recording:
- Continuous recording – The camera records continuously, like a traditional
video recorder. Using intelligent frame allocation the image capture rate can be
automatically increased if an incident occurs.
- Scheduled recording - Footage is recorded in accordance with a
weekly/daily/hourly schedule.
- Video Motion Detection (VMD) recording – Footage is only recorded when
movement is detected. The type of motion that causes the recording can be
specified based on an objects size, colour, direction or speed.
- Trigger recording – The system only records if it receives a specified
external signal, for example, if a door is opened or a light is turned
on.
Different types of recording can be configured for each connected camera
individually and all can be set to operate according to an hourly, daily or
weekly timetable.
Pre- and post-event footage is captured for all activity-triggered recording
and all settings can be configured for each camera individually.
Busy or sensitive areas within the field of view can be masked off on a
per-camera basis, maximising the effectiveness of the system.
Transmission
CubisPRO delivers live and recorded video and audio at high speeds without
loss of quality from remote sites. Superior differential transmission minimises
bandwidth consumption. Video can be transmitted over any TCP/IP connection,
including digital lines, ISDN, xDSL, LAN, leased lines, wireless networks and
GPRS. Data can be monitored continuously at the remote site, automatically sent
if an incident occurs, or sent at the request of the remote
site.
CubisPRO modules do not have to be located at the same physical
location. Sites can be distributed across the country and still viewed and
controlled through a single integrated interface.
Security and Access
Protection

Different level of user access can be defined by the
system administrator on a per-camera basis. Cameras can be completely hidden
from unauthorised users, or viewing may be password
protected.
Maintenance reports can be produced which log any change
carried out the system - which user changed which settings and when, including
tampering or deleting footage. The reports are encrypted and accessible only to
selected personnel. |

Alarms and Alerts
The systems can be set to send out alerts by email, SMS
or emergency dial-out video transmission, if an incident occurs. Coupled with
the transmission capabilities, this can form an efficient and effective way of
monitoring premises, especially for small, and owner-run businesses.
